Kunsthalle München
With around 350,000 visitors annually, the Kunsthalle München is one of Germany’s most renowned exhibition venues. Located in the heart of downtown Munich, it hosts three major exhibitions each year on a wide variety of topics: from painting, sculpture, and graphic art to photography, crafts, design, and fashion. Monographic exhibitions and thematic projects alternate, but interdisciplinary approaches also find their place in the Kunsthalle München’s diverse program.
On June 14, 1985, the Kunsthalle opened its doors to the public. HypoVereinsbank continues its strong commitment to the foundation and the Kunsthalle to this day.
The Kunsthalle München also offers a wide-ranging accompanying program for children and young people, including public exhibition tours for adults, curator tours, after-work tours, baby-friendly tours for mothers and fathers, and much more.
